Premium Format Boba Fett Update
Sideshow has posted a new series of final production images for their upcoming Premium Format Boba Fett figure. Preorders start shipping in December and although the exclusive edition is sold out (join wait list here), the regular edition is still available.

Preorders are now live via Sideshow Collectibles for the 1/4 Scale Boba Fett Figure. Price is set at $469.99 and the expected arrival date is November 2015.
Hot Toys Officially Announces 1/4 Scale Boba Fett (ROTJ)
The ink was barely dry from our previous report when Hot Toys released official imagery and details for their 1/4 Scale Boba Fett Figure via Facebook.
The name “Boba Fett” is no stranger to all Star Wars fans. With his customized Mandalorian armor, deadly weaponry, and silent demeanor, Boba Fett was one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy. Following the introduction of Hot Toys’ Star Wars 1/6th scale collectible figures, today we are very excited to officially reveal Boba Fett as the first collectible figure of Hot Toys’ Star Wars 1/4th scale collectible series!
The highly-accurate quarter-scale collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Boba Fett in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi featuring finely sculpted Boba Fett helmet and armor, his signature jetpack, highly detailed weapons, accessories, and a specially designed sail barge figure stand all with skillfully-applied distressed effects. A special edition will be available for selected markets and include a blaster sidearm with holster which Boba Fett has in Star Wars: Episode V Empire Strikes Back.

Looks like those leaked images from a week back were accurate as Hot Toys has released official images of their upcoming 1:4 Scale Boba Fett figure.

UPDATE: Hot Toys Boba Fett (ROTJ) Coming Soon?
Looks like Hot Toys isn’t resting one bit with their newly acquired sixth scale license as blurry images of a new Boba Fett (Return of the Jedi) figure has hit over at the SideshowCollectors forums. This figure looks to have a ton of accessories and display options including a cool severed blaster rifle and skiff base. Click the image above for a closer look and keep your sights locked on as we wait for official confirmation.
UPDATE: Based on the blurry, circular logo and the bottom left of the image, this looks to be a 1/4 scale figure
Hot Toys Announced 1:6 and 1:4 Star Wars License
Hot Toys has just announced via Facebook the acquisition of both the 1:6 and 1:4 scale license for Star Wars products.

We are extremely excited to officially announce today, Hot Toys has acquired the right to manufacture 1/6th scale and 1/4th scale collectible figures from the STAR WARS universe, including the upcoming highly anticipated Star Wars Episode VII that is set to hit theatres in December, 2015. Update: Premium Format Blackhole Stormtrooper Coming Soon
Sideshow Collectibles is preparing to offer a Blackhole Stormtrooper Premium Format figure next week for pre-order (May 30th) and collectors will also have a chance to win this piece as well. Keep a look out for more details as they become available.

Tauntaun Tease from Sideshow?
Sideshow Collectibles has posted via Twitter/Facebook/Instagram a curious image that is simply captioned as:
“Who (or what) do these packs belong to? #StarWars #Hoth #EmpireStrikesBack”.
By the looks of it, we can expect a Tauntaun (of some scale) in the not-too-distant future and with that can a Hoth Luke or Han be far behind?
