New Force For Change Campaign

Today, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and Star Wars veteran Mark Hamill announced a new campaign sponsored by CrowdRise in support of Star WarsForce for Change, an initiative that inspires people to make a positive impact on the world. Starting April 5thStar Wars: Force for Change will match the donations of Star Wars fans to four select charities up to $1,000,000!

D23 Expo 2017 Announced

Disney has officially announced the dates for the next D23:

All the magic and excitement of the past, present, and future of Disney entertainment will come together once again D23 presents D23 Expo 2017 at the Anaheim Convention Center the weekend of July 14–16. Each of Disney’s magical worlds will unite under one roof to celebrate what’s new and what’s on the horizon from theme parks, television, music, gaming, and films, including Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel. Advance tickets for D23 Expo 2017 will go on sale at D23Expo.com beginning July 14, 2016.

With this date superseding  SDCC, could we see our first trailer for Episode VIII at D23?

The Force Awakens Is Coming Home

StarWars.com has updated (finally) with the official release announcement for The Force Awakens on Blu-ray/DVD/Digital. Head on over to check out the break down of features and various retailer exclusive versions*.

Target has posted the details for their exclusive Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital version of The Force Awakens coming on April 5.

Only at Target: Collectible packaging, plus 20 minutes of exclusive bonus content, including a never-before-seen interview with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, and a deeper look at the movie’s weaponry.

UPDATE: Disney has confirmed that it will be available in advance as a digital download on April 1.
