In case you missed my post on social media over the weekend regarding SDCC news and coverage, I’m taking a step back from around the clock duties on Yakface and its social channels to focus on my mental health surrounding this hobby/Hasbro. I fear that if I allow myself to continue with this bitter attitude that has been festering for a while now regarding Hasbro in general, I’ll rage quit altogether. I’m not ready for that. Yet.

Time to start planning for San Diego Comic-Con reveals and preorders! We can probably expect to see a few official pre- and post-event reveals with the bulk happening at their panel at SDCC on July 24 at 2pm PT/5pm ET. Based on information I have found (along with my best guess), we can plan on the following announcements and preorders this month*:
The team at SWTVC partnered with the Hasbro Star Wears Brand team today to reveal the upcoming Walmart Exclusive Vintage Collection Anakin Skywalker & Commander Cody (Utapau) 2pk. Preorders open June 11 at 10am ET ($49.99) and are expected to ship this summer.
Tune in to The SWTVC Show this Saturday as we’re joined by special guests Chris and Brandon from the Hasbro Star Wars brand team! Word on the holonet is that they won’t be showing up empty-handed and there may be a first look at a cool new upcoming item for The Vintage Collection.
Two streams in one month! Hasbro has announced that there will be another Star Wars Fanstream next week (Tuesday, 11am ET) which will in all likelihood lean heavily on new product reveals from The Mandalorian and Grogu (now in theaters). Preorders will drop on Thursday.

Disney Store is launching their May the 4th event today at 8am PT / 11am ET. Be sure to sign into your account early as there will be a virtual queue to begin online shopping. There will be various items to choose from: role play helmets and accessories, clothing, statues, lightsabers, action figures and more.
Hasbro Pulse will be broadcasting their annual Star Wars Day fanstream this Friday, May 1 at 11am ET with new product announcements and preorders to follow.
StarWars.com has posted the first look at the key art for next year’s Star Wars Celebration and announced that tickets for the event as well as preferred hotels open on May 6, 2026 at 12pm PT
I was beginning to think it wasn’t coming as a little bug in my ear told me that this week’s intended product drop was canceled and rescheduled for next week (Wednesday). Hasbro has confirmed that with the announcement of Monday’s Star Wars Fanstream. Chances are we’ll see a few rumors come to fruition with more on the way later this month.
Update: Also after 6 grueling months, we are finally getting the pay off on the Cantina characters teased back at SDCC 2025. Let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint.
