PROS: Although we’ve been inundated with this figure sculpt for 5 years, it is still a solid mold without being overtly outdated. Nice likeness and well accessorized.
CONS: A better figure is available in the 2010 Saga Legends line for $1 cheaper. The knee joints suffer from “ostrich syndrome” and the ankles are distracting with the contrasting joint inserts.

Our friends at JediDefender have posted a new list of Target DPCIs slated for feature on a Star Wars endcap in the next week or so. Head on over for the complete breakdown.
PROS: A nice super super-articulated plain clone trooper for our collections. Keep an eye out for the versions that have the belt flipped in the correct orientation.
CONS: Missing paint apps on the helmet make him look plainer than he already is. Helmet is also prone to yellowing/discoloration. Light in the accessory department – a spare DC-15A blaster rifle would have been a nice extra. Wonky hip articulation doesn’t add a whole lot in terms of “fun factor”. Some versions have the belt assembled upside down. You can get a better ROTS clone trooper in the Saga Legends line cheaper and you get extra weapons and a stand.

Variation hunters rejoice/commit seppuku. Despite Hasbro’s insistence that running changes are too hard to manage, it appears that another switcheroo has been made in the kid targeted Saga Legends line. Joining Obi-Wan and the Battle Droids is Darth Vader (SL06) which now sports the “500th Vader” sculpt. Initial production runs of this Legends release included a repack of the TLC BD08 sculpt. Tap the image above for a closer look.
PROS: The definitive ROTS Anakin/Pre-Suit Vader. Takes the TAC version and gives it the arm articulation it deserved all along. New head sculpt is pretty sweet too.
CONS: None.

A couple of upcoming exclusive figures have turned up on eBay recently – Ysanne Isard and Geonosis C-3PO.
Both figures look great, and hopefully it won’t be too long before these are officially out. But until then if your patience gets the best of you, you can get them a bit early.
