A couple months back, we shared an announcement regarding a few classic Lucasfilm games being made available online by GOG.com. GOG has now released wave 2 featuring six Star Wars titles including X-wing Alliance, X-wing vs TIE Fighter, Galactic Battlegrounds Saga, Dark Forces, Knight of the Old Republic II and Battlefront II.
Newsarama has posted an interview with team members from Disney Interactive regarding future product additions to the Disney Infinity game. During the final exchange there is a blatant implication of Star Wars characters coming in 2015.
Nrama: Very cool! I like to end things on a tease, so is there something you’re excited about, maybe a little down the road?
Vignocchi: Well I did my tease today. My favorite character is one that has not yet been announced. It’s a female character. A Disney character. And we will not tell retail who it is for a very long time in order to keep it a secret!
Blackburn: I like your other tease better. “We can talk about the future, but that’s far, far away.”
Vignocchi: 2015 is not so far, far away anymore, is it?
