Back in January, Medicom revealed their DX Series 3 of Kubricks consisting of Floppy Hat Luke, R5-D4, Garindan, Sandtrooper with Sentry Droid, Tusken Raider (Kenner deco, vinyl cape), Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi (Kenner deco, vinyl cape) – all including parts to build a Kubrick-scale version of Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder. Now that this set has been released and is shipping, the chase figures have been revealed to be Uncle Owen and a Kenner-style version of Hammerhead! As bonus for those that order Master Cases (4 boxes of 12) collectors receive a Limited Edition Mos Eisley/Tatooine cardboard display.

After months of speculation, Instinctoy has revealed the 2 chase figures for the soon-to-be-released Kubrick DX Series 2: The AT-ST Driver and Hoth Rebel Trooper! DX Series 2 is themed around the Battle of Hoth and consists of a Snowtrooper Commander, Chewbacca (Mechanic), Han Solo in Hoth Gear (Blue Coat), Luke Skywalker in Hoth Gear, Princess Leia in Hoth Gear and R-3PO. This series consists of a Battle Droid, Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, Queen Amidala, Qui-Gon Jinnand C-3PO. We also added a couple of those pesky hard-to-find “chase” figures packed in select boxes of this series which include Jar Jar Binks and Aurra Sing. Not showing for picture day is the illusive Iktotchi Jedi Master, Saesee Tiin.
