Looks like Sideshow is dipping back into the vault to re-issue their impressive IG-88 Sixth Scale figure. It is unknown at this time if it is a straight re-release or (probably) a tweak to the previous model and without the deluxe illuminated display base. Look for an official preorder announcement soon.
Toy Ark has alert us to news that Hot Toys is releasing a Special Edition/Exclusive 1:6 Scale Gold Chrome Stormtrooper as part of their Movie Masterpiece line. It is speculated that this figure will receive a release similar to last year’s Copper Chrome Stormtrooper. Look for an official announcement and preorder soon.
Sideshow Collectibles has started sending out notifications to those that preordered their 1:6 Scale Jawas Figure Set. Look for this to start charging to accounts and shipping in about two weeks.

Sideshow has updated today revealing their 1:6 scale R5-J2 Imperial Astromech figure. As we posted on Facebook yesterday, it is interesting that the dome for this figure is technically wrong if they are using this droid as the basis for the sculpt (note the eye stalks).
