    2008 all over again

Will be nice to see that much Star Wars product in one place. Hope other retailers follow suit.

Now the issue would be HASBRO getting the PRODUCT out to stores. Then STORES need to put it in the SHELF. That’s how it works in retail. I’d be more than happy to buy some stuff. It just needs to be there!

is there a confirmed date in August?

  • nate e.

I haven’t bought SW or Marvel toys in about 10 years but I love seeing this much space being used. I probably won’t buy anything but there should be some cool stuff in there.

I wonder if this will all be Hasbro merchandise, or if Lego gets a part if this space?

LEGO should be mixed in, yes.

I’m assuming this is by the front entrance area?

    • http://www.starwarscollector.com/ Dan@StarWarsCollector.com

I would assume so. Probably will replace the Transformers section at the front entrance.

I spoke with a TRU employee a few weeks ago who said that there was going to be a HUGE Star Wars presence with the August reset, and a lot more Marvel space too. Hence all the blue, green, yellow, brown sticker clearance items to make room for this “new direction” with usage of their retail space. I didn’t think it would be this big though. Very nice.
