The first Star Wars related announcement from NYCC has made its way out to the masses via our friend Johnamarie (@BlueJaigEyes) as Bandai Namco reveals Star Wars: Battle Pod. Click on through for some descriptive tweets and a YouTube video
The Realm Recap co-host Flyguy tipped us off to news (via ToyArk) that Bandai has released new images and details regarding their upcoming Movie Realization Samurai Darth Vader figure. The figure itself features interchangeable hands and katana-inspired lightsaber. It stands just over 7″ (180mm) and will retail for approx. $84 US. Click on over to check out the full image gallery.

If you recall, a few months back there was speculation that a series of highly articulated Star Wars figures were coming to Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts line – a rumor that later seemed false. Well, it looks like the tables have turned once again because Bandai has taken the wraps off of not one, but two S.H. Figuarts figures. But that’s not all….click on through for the details.
BANDAI’s S.H.Figuarts line looks to be breaking into the Star Wars universe with this teaser on Tamashii Nations’ blog. For the uninitiated, S.H.Figuarts produce a line of figures that are intended to replicate, with precision, the natural movements of the human body. It will be interesting to see their approach with Yoda’s species.
