New Hot Wheels Pop Culture Star Wars Series

Hot Wheels will soon be offering their next assortment of Pop Culture  1:64 scale cars featuring characters from Star Wars. Be on the look out in August for C-3PO, R2-D2, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Darth Vader. Each car is includes Real Rider (rubber) wheels and a full-metal body and unique graphics. Click on through for a closer look at all 6 cars.

Ultimate Die Cast Set Hitting Disney Stores

The Ultimate Star Wars Die Cast Set that has shown up on DisneyStore.com recently is also being found in brick and mortar Disney Stores per this tweet from Tucson ToyHunter. This set includes the Millennium Falcon, Y-wing, Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced, 2 standard TIE Fighters, an Imperial Star Destroyer, Luke’s “Red Five” X-wing and an Exclusive Wedge Antilles “Red Two” X-wing.

Hot Wheels Star Wars Cars and Tracks Coming Soon

Confirming Jedi Temple Archives’ original Toy Fair report, Entertainment Earth and Big Bad Toy Store are now taking pre-orders for vehicle and race track assortments of Hot Wheels product. Look for them online and in stores this fall. No images are available yet, but I really hope they make those sweet cars from the 70’s and 80’s like the custom vans and Toyota Celica.

Disney Star Wars Event: Diecast Vehicles

Next up in our Disney Star Wars Event focus are the die cast vehicles. Similar to Hasbro Titanium Series line, these vehicles consist of all metal construction, moving parts and have a price range of $9.95 for the smaller vehicles to $19.95 for the larger or “Deluxe” offerings. Note: yes the X-Wings engine are installed incorrectly – these are plastic/resin prototypes – the final version will be correct. Click on through for the gallery.
