Soon, Mattel will be releasing a Commemorative Series of Star Wars Hot Wheels vehicles to celebrate the 9 film Star Wars saga. These special vehicles will have a raw (ZAMAC-like) finish and as a special bonus, will each include a part to build a Death Star. You can see in our Master List the 9 vehicles being released. The first case mix can be preordered now through Entertainment Earth.
It looks like a few of the vehicles from Star Wars Resistance will get some sort of recognition in the toy aisle this year as Amazon.ca has listed 3 entries for the Hot Wheels Starships line. They include Kaz Xiono’s Fireball, Torra Doza’s Blue Ace and Hype Fazon’s Green Ace.

We’ve had these two in our master list for some time but Walmart has finally updated with images for the TIE Fighter Pilot and Chewbacca & Porg Character Cars from Hot Wheels. As you can see, the packaging features a black Star Wars logo on a white background — like Hasbro’s Star Wars: Resistance line and LEGO’s (leaked) packaging mockups. Plan on seeing a lot of this look for 2019. Click on through for the carded shots.
Mattel’s line of Hot Wheels Diecast All-Terrain Character Cars show no signs of slowing down. Recently, the Kylo Ren and Rey car joined Luke Skywalker, BB-8, Darth Vader and First Order Stormtrooper. Yahoo has posted an exclusive (i.e. official) first look at several exclusive item coming this Thursday, May 25 to Disney Stores. Head on over to check out the Elite Series Han and Luke in Stormtrooper Disguise Two Pack, ornaments, figurine/statue, pins set, Tsum Tsums and more.
It appears the the Disney Store will be offering a Premium version of their exclusive Elite Series die cast figures as seen in this store pamphlet. Look for additional details in the future.
