Disney Parks Blog has updated today announcing several new items for Fall 2016. And while we have seen some of these items already revealed at park locations, there are a few nuggets of newness for collectors namely the latest carded astromech droid: R2-H16.
The Yakface Toyguide updates continue, shifting to the Disney Parks exclusive Droid Factory Rogue One Astromech Set.
PROS: Astromech collectors/fans have had a lot of reason to rejoice over the last few months as there have been several droid offerings, in different scales, from the different licensees this year. This set is solely dedicated to the droids of Rogue One, and while we don’t know anything about how they play into the overall story, it’s great to get a complement of droid to bolster the ranks of the 3.75″ scale. These droids utilize the proprietary build-a-droid sculpt from Disney Parks’ continuing Droid Factory program meaning that all of the parts from each droid are cross-compatible. Decos for the most part are excellent and really stand apart from one another.
CONS: None really to speak of other than a few paint masks that didn’t quite hit their mark on a few of the droids. It would’ve also been great to get a bit of backstory for each of the droid to know what factions they line up with and to whom they may belong.

EndorExpress has posted this cool update to the Starspeeder 1000 3.75″scale vehicle/playset available at Star Tours. The vehicle (and packaging) has been updated for 2016 to include a new Tour to Jakku scene inside the vehicle. The vehicle now costs $75.00 – the 2011 version was $54.99

Vinylmation World has posted news of a new Vinymation Eachez Princess Leia scheduled for release on June 3. There will be two versions available Hoth Outfit (9/10) and a chase Mynock Scene (1/10) variant.
Vinylmation World as posted that today marks the release date of the Limited Edition Vinylmation Eachez Series 8 that features Star Tours Starspeeder pilots Rex (9/10) or Ace (1/10) . This series is available now at Disney Parks at Disneyland and Disney World and on DisneyStore.com.

Looks like our theory was right on the mark as an auction for that mystery astromech has turned up on eBay revealing R5-M4 as the carded Star Wars Day/May the Fourth Droid Factory figure.
DisneyParks Blog has announced that Star Wars: Force for Change will be returning to Disney Parks on May 4th and locations will be offering the first merchandise to feature the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story logo. Twenty-five percent of the retail sale price of this product will be donated to U.S. Fund for UNICEF in support of UNICEF Kid Power.

Endor Express has shared via Instagram a new latex Dewback (a kin to the Happabore that was released last year) is now available a Disney Parks. They describe that the dewback relatively close in scale to the 6″ figure line so this might make for some great customizing and/diorama filler.
