Chapter 13 of The Mandalorian officially aired last Friday and fulfilled many fan dreams of seeing a live action version of Ahsoka Tano on screen. This episode finds The Mandalorian on his quest to deliver the asset formerly known as “The Child” to the Jedi but not without a run in with another warlord that must be dispatched to save a village. Dave Filoni delivers a great episode in the vein of many samurai tales that influenced Star Wars from its inception.

Directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, this episode concludes the journey of “Frog Lady” and her brood but The Mandalorian continues his search for more Mandalorians – who find him first. The episode is loaded with references to previous eras of Star Wars and confirms some BIG rumors of where the direction of the show was said to be headed.
