DisneyStore.com has added two of the three Original Trilogy figure “play sets” to their online store. As you may recall, we were able to provide you a first look at these sets back in April. Click on through to check out the A New Hope and Return of the Jedi sets.
Today marks the official release of Scholastic’s Star Wars Rebels: Head-To-Head.

This book of match-ups will compare the combatants’s gear stats, weapons, and strategies–inviting the reader to imagine duels that have never happened before. Fans of the movies or the hit animated show Clone Wars will adore this title.
We posted some “first look” images from this book a couple weeks ago via Facebook that introduced some new as well as details of already known characters and vehicles.
It seems that this rumor/claim comes around a few times a year but we’ll pass it on again. Comicbook.com is reporting “exclusively” that plans are in motion to release the Original Trilogy, unaltered, in its pre-Special Edition form on Blu-ray. Obviously, no official statement has been made so treat it as a big rumor for now.

Star Wars Rebels continues the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures. It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. As the series begins, Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, ruling with an iron fist and ruining the lives of its people. The clever and motley crew of the starship Ghost is amongst a select few who are brave enough to stand against the Empire. Together, this ragtag group will face threatening new villains, encounter colorful adversaries, embark on thrilling adventures and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion.
Scheduled to premiere this October as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel, it will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels around the world.
