The Realm Recap returns this week and we’re in full “con mode” as more and more exclusives have been announced. Hasbro as lifted the veil on theirs with the reveal of three 6″ Black Series items not to mention the return of the Fan’s Choice poll! Hot Toys has revealed their newest 1:6 scale figure from The Force Awakens: Rey (Resistance Outfit)

Sideshow is now taking preorders for the Hot Toys 1:6 Scale Battlefront Jumptrooper figure.

Hot Toys has posted official details (via their Facebook page) for their Exclusive Gold Chrome Stormtrooper 1:6 Scale Figure.
Hot Toys is thrilled to announce its first new flagship store in Shanghai, China is officially opening tomorrow!
To commemorate this great milestone, we are putting a “Midas” touch to the classic Stormtrooper armor of the Star Wars saga and delighted to present a special gold chrome 1/6th scale Stormtrooper collectible figure as a Hot Toys Exclusive item only available at our new store for the Asia Pacific region!
UPDATE: Sideshow will be offering preorders on this figure next Thursday, June 23.
Episode #99: Summertime Sadness
Despite the majority of retail outlets being devoid of new products on shelves, there are still a few surprises as online retailers are receiving a “new” 6″ version of Rey – which may be just different enough to make you mad/sad. Funko continue to promote like no other brand as teases for the next Smuggler’s Bounty box have sparked some discussion of potential for new characters. The biggest (and most spendy) news of last week was the announcement of an ultra-high end tier of prop replicas from Propshop – the manufacturer responsible for the very same screen used props in The Force Awakens. And finally, we close out Episode #99 with a few new acquisitions to tide us over until the next “must-have” item comes along.

Hot Toys Reveals 1:6 Scale Gold Chrome Stormtrooper
Toy Ark has alert us to news that Hot Toys is releasing a Special Edition/Exclusive 1:6 Scale Gold Chrome Stormtrooper as part of their Movie Masterpiece line. It is speculated that this figure will receive a release similar to last year’s Copper Chrome Stormtrooper. Look for an official announcement and preorder soon.
