Spark of Rebellion DVD Early Release?

Stephen Stanton (The Clone Wars) tweeted an image last night showing some signage at Walmart and you’ll notice that the release date for Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion is listed for October 3 – the same day the special airs on the Disney Channel. This contradicts the October 14 release date stated back in August. Signage could be wrong, or Walmart has an exclusive distribution deal with Disney/Lucasfilm.

New Rebels Short: “It’s Not What You Think”
In “Not What You Think,” a special Star Wars Rebels short, Ezra finds a downed TIE fighter on the plains of Lothal. The young rebel opens the ship’s hatch — pretending to help the ungrateful Imperial pilot — and leaves with a few souvenirs.

The Clone Wars S6 Blu-ray/DVD Pre-Order (Germany)
Amazon.de has made available pre-orders for the as-of-yet to be officially announced sixth season (originally available on Netflix) release of The Clone Wars on Blu-ray and DVD. Star Wars Rebels Short: Art Attack
The Star Wars YouTube page has updated today with the newest short from Star Wars Rebels focusing on the artistic flair and tactics of Sabine.
Unedited/Altered Original Trilogy Blu-ray Release?
It seems that this rumor/claim comes around a few times a year but we’ll pass it on again. Comicbook.com is reporting “exclusively” that plans are in motion to release the Original Trilogy, unaltered, in its pre-Special Edition form on Blu-ray. Obviously, no official statement has been made so treat it as a big rumor for now.
