PROS: A somewhat new take on a classic character as the previous version was little more than a statue. The modification of the Resurgence of the Jedi Battle Pack Luke works well here especially with the added soft goods. Decent likeness and a fair amount of accessories.
CONS: Comlink accessory is very tiny and can be easily lost if precautions aren’t taken to secure it. Would have been swell if we could have received a headset accessory too in order render that POTF2 Gunner Station Luke obsolete as well.

Collectors and kids can be in for an unpleasant surprise next time they want to pick up a Star Wars figure at Target.
As reported by our friends at Jedidefender.com, Target stores have raised the price of their Vintage Collection figures and Legends/Clone Wars figures by another buck.
Share your thoughts on how this price increase could affect your collecting habits in the forums.
You read correctly. According to a recent report by our friends at Rebelscum, wave 5 (the mixed wave) has appeared in Florida, essentially leapfrogging store reports for the Attack of the Clone assortment (wave 4). So, it looks that there are even more figure to hunt for on your daily toy runs. Nice distribution Pawtucket!
Yak Reader John Hurd writes in with some disturbing news regarding pre-orders for the Toys”R”Us exclusive “Battle Over Endor” multi-packs.
All pre-orders from Toys”R”Us will be canceled for the Battle of Endor per Toys”R”Us. I called them and inquired. It wil be put back online when they get them and know how many they will be getting. Supposedly they are getting less than what they were pre-ordered allowed. So everyone will be canceled.
For those that pre-ordered these sets, has this been your experience as well? Let us know in our forums or on facebook.
The wait is over! The Dagobah Landing Luke’s cardback has been revealed over at Rebelscum’s forums confirming the other figures in wave 6: Clone Trooper (AOTC), AT-RT Driver, General Lando Calrissian, Weequay (Skiff Master) and the Nikto Jedi, Fi Ek Sirch
Forums around the internet are abuzz regarding the leak of a previously rumored Dagobah Luke image today. As you can see, this version is a slight modification of the Snowspeeder Luke from the TLC line this time he features a new head, arms/hands and holster. Look for this figure to be included in wave 6 (2011 wave 3) of the Vintage Collection later this year.
Target is always good about marking down old product – but $12.48 for the Vintage 9-pk? That’s what I found this evening at a local St. Louis Target. It was marked $34.98, but scanned at 75% off already. So even if you see these marked for 30% or 50% off, be sure to scan them because you could be in for a nice surprise!
Jedi News has posted a great shot of the revised card art for the previously delayed Yoda for The Vintage Collection. You’ll also notice the packaging variant/correction for the Endor Capture Luke Skywalker as well. Head on over to check it out!
