The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the next addition for the 2012 “Darth Maul” product line. We continue with another new figure in the Movie Heroes assortment: Queen Amidala with Pull-Out Zip-Line!

PROS: Hasbro gives us a revamp of the Queen Amidala in decoy/handmaiden/battle gear we last got back in 2000. The overall figure looks great in terms of costume sculpt and detail. Zip-line backpack works well and harkens back to those Episode I Accessory Sets.

CONS: Swivel joints for the shoulders, while nice esthetically, limit posing options. No knee or ankle joints ultimately make the figure feel cheap, and it’s not at close to $10. Not one of the greatest Natalie Portman likeness considering the job they’ve done in the past capturing her sculpt.
