Several readers have been asking “when will HasbroToyShop open orders for the 6″ Black Series Exclusives from SDCC 2016?” It is a valid question considering Hasbro’s “go live” times have had a track record of unpredictability. Tomorrow, HasbroToyShop will be announcing the go-live date for the SDCC Exclusive Obi-Wan Kenobi, Kylo Ren and Jyn Erso 6″ Black Series figures.
UPDATE: Although subject to change, HasbroToyShop is planning on having the Convention Exclusives available to order on Tuesday,August 9th. The product will be located in the “EXCLUSIVES” category. No phone orders will be accepted. All Convention Exclusives are excluded from any promotions and discounts.

StarWars.com has announced that the last scene for Episode VIII has been filmed and the anticipated sequel has officially wrapped production (aside from some pick ups and reshoots I would imagine). Now the long wait until December 2017.
Hasbro has updated their booth with a few more Black Series figures like Darth Revan and Sabine, but what drew our attention was the much-improved look of the 6″ Princess Leia Organa tweeted out by Hasbro themselves. A far cry from what was shown at Celebration Europe last week.
Continuing the long tradition of holiday-themed mini busts, Gentle Giant has revealed and is now taking preorder for the Holiday BB-8 mini bust. Open to PG Member only, this seasonal version of BB-8 features a permanently mounted string of multi-color decorative lights.
PG Member have until August 10 to reserve your bust, and as with others in the past, they tend to sell through quickly.
Last year’s SDCC was a bit of a letdown as product for The Force Awakens was kept heavily under wraps until Force Friday (and the preceding leaks). This year, it looks like the mystery box won’t be under lock and key as much as Hasbro is set to reveal new products from Rogue One starting tomorrow.
