Speaking of big, Hot Toys revealed the ultimate 1:6 item – the Millennium Falcon display recently in Hong Kong. It not only went viral in the collecting community, but caught worldwide attention on media outlets as well. Is something like this actually viable in today’s market? New Toys Names Revealed Ahead of Force Friday Launch

Star Wars #8 Tusken Raider Action Figure Variant Cover
The ever expanding list of action figure cover variants for Marvel’s Star Wars series continues with the Tusken Raider for issue #008. Like the others, this variant features the work of John Tyler Christopher giving the cover a Vintage Kenner inspired design with a realistic twist. Look for it at your local comic shop on August 19
Disney Store Exclusive Star Wars Legion Helmet Series
Disney Store will also introduce Star Wars Legion Helmets, a series of eight vinyl collectible helmets inspired by the Star Wars Legion Helmet project launched in early 2014.
Disney Store Launching Exclusive Star Wars Elite Series Figures
Disney Store will launch an exclusive collection of Star Wars items at D23 EXPO on Friday, August 14. The collection will feature apparel, collectibles, and toys, including the Star Wars Elite Series, a new line of highly articulated and detailed die cast action figures, representing characters from Star Wars Episodes I-VI. The action figures will be sold individually at Disney Store locations beginning later this year; however, D23 EXPO attendees have the opportunity to purchase the full set of Star Wars Elite Series action figures, which includes D23 EXPO-exclusive versions of R2-D2 and C-3PO.
No word as of yet regarding the scale of these figures.
