CW25 Ki-Adi-Mundi

The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of Ki-Adi-Mundi from the Clone Wars Collection.

PROS: Overall, a nice figure sculpt that captures the angular/slim esthetics of the series. Implementation of soft goods works well here too.

CONS: Tauntaun-in-the-highlights look for the eyes, no ankle joints. Odd neck joint design prevents head from looking left to right. A bit lacking in the accessory category.

A New Look for Ahsoka in Season 3

I ran across an interesting link through Twitter today. It appears that Anakin’s padawan Ahsoka will be getting a outfit/character design makeover sometime in season 3 of the Clone Wars. You’ll be able to get a better look in the upcoming issue of the Star Wars Insider (#121). This outfit change might also coincide with the change in design for Obi-Wan Kenobi figure that was revealed last week by Sandtroopers.com.

CW24 Jungle Camo ARF Trooper

The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the Jungle Camo ARF Trooper from the Clone Wars Collection.

PROS: This particular deco was inevitable when we saw this style clone trooper in the movie and TV series. Premium articulation allows for great dynamic poses and helps in the figure’s stability immensely especially when wielding the gatling gun.

CONS:Camo pattern on the armor seems a little light when compared to the character model/skin.

Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.
