I received my latest issue of the Star Wars Insider today and was surprised to read that Revenge of the Sith will be making its theatrical 3D premiere during Celebration Anaheim in April. Attendees will be able to view the entire Prequel Trilogy in 3D (along with the Original Trilogy in non-3D) over the course of the four day event.

Throw this in the rumor pile for now, but DeathStar.nl has posted an interesting tidbit about the possibility of 3D versions of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith heading to theaters (at least in the Netherlands) in December of 2014.
Back in January it was announced that Disney was postponing/canceling the release of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith in 3D. But now, if you are one of the fortunate attendees of this year’s Celebration Europe II, you are in luck as they have announced that Episode II in 3D will be presented at the event.
Deadline.com has posted an exclusive rumor/report stating that due to the lackluster reception of Episode I in 3D there will no further prequel 3D releases and instead focus their resources on production of the sequel trilogy. Again, this is an unconfirmed rumor at this point so stay tuned for further developments…
Update:StarWars.com confirms that further 3D releases are postponed.
