Disney Store has posted a preview of their next assortment of Star Wars-themed Tsum Tsum plush characters. Available on April 4, the Revenge of the Sith set includes General Grevious, Clone Trooper*, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker**.
*Note the Phase I design for the Clone Trooper and not the proper Phase II

Lucasfilm and Disney have announced that Star Wars Rebels will be returning for a Season 4 this fall. There had been some questions regarding the status of the series as many of DisneyXD’s renewals have already been announced while Rebels had been absent.
Lucasfilm has filed two new trademark applications for something called “Star Wars: Rivals”. The descriptions are as follows:
“Apparatus for recording, transmission or reproduction of sound or images; audio books; audio recordings; audio and visual recordings; video game software; computer programs and software; downloadable electronic publications; downloadable game software; downloadable mobile applications; consumer electronics and accessories therefor; eyeglasses and sunglasses and accessories therefor; binoculars; decorative magnets; graduated rulers; microphones; helmets; flotation vests; protective face masks not for medical purposes; snorkels; swimming goggles; swim masks”

Countdown begins for world-wide release of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” products plus new product packaging revealed!
Our friends at Jedi-Bibliothek have received intel that the Force Friday merchandise roll out for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will allegedly begin globally on September 1, 2017. With the problems that surrounded The Force Awakens event, let’s hope that the products for the sequel have better distribution on launch day.

Filming has begun for the Han Solo stand alone Star Wars film. The production name is titled “Red Cup” as a tongue-in-cheek reference to the Solo® red plastic cups. Star Wars “Red Cup” is being directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
