Hasbro Unveils Star Wars Rebels Packaging at NYCC

 In anticipation of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars Rebels panel at New York Comic Con (Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. in room 1E of the Javits Convention Center) Hasbro is officially unveiling the packaging treatment for its Star Wars Rebels 3.75-inch action figure line supporting the upcoming animated series. Blind Box Saga Legends & Mission Series in Japan

Blind packaged mini figures is all the rage these days especially for line like LEGO and KRE-O. It appears that Hasbro is taking it a bit further as the Saga Legends & Mission Series lines are combined in a Trading Figure assortment which are blind boxed in Japan courtesy of these images from Toy Sapiens. What do you think of a concept like this coming to the US for action figures?

Black Series Taped Fresh from the Case?

Yak Face reader Adam Vinson, writes in with an interesting find at his Target. It appears that the latest batch of The Black Series figure have the bubble taped fresh from the case in order to address the bubble adhesion issue. Here is his report:

Looks like Hasbro is reading the reports or at least Target is….Notice the tape, this was a fresh new case, all of the figures had it.

AOTC Yoda Line Look Confirmed
