As we approach the official release of The Last Jedi, kicking off with the red carpet event this weekend, now may be the time to check out of casual online browsing, especially social media. Entire image galleries from the Visual Dictionary book (released on Dec. 15) have hit sites and even some of the new official TV spots have some pretty surprising reveals (a big one just today) that you may wish to experience in the context of the entire film rather than in a quick clip. Again, official TV spots and trailers are fair game to talk about but if you’re sensitive to “spoilers” the onus is on you to avoid them or seek them out. It’s All In The Last Jed-Eyes
The Target Exclusive 6″ Luke Skywalker Ahco-To Island is hitting stores pretty heavily now so you may want to wait, if you have been, instead of ordering online. The reason is that there seems to been a varying degree of “eye deco” applied to the reclusive Jedi Master. This morning, my store put out 4 for the sets (shown above) and some have darkened skin paint apps while others, a much lighter treatment or none at all. With every new Star Wars release, there is a plethora of reference material and resource publications that go along with it. For me, they are some of my favorite gifts to give and receive for the holidays. The Last Jedi hits theaters next week, and DK will be releasing their Visual Dictionary and Incredible Cross-Sections books plus Abrams’ The Art of The Last Jedi book. All three are available for preorder now on Amazon at up to 51% off their retail price and ship next week.

Rey (44) Battle Damaged Variant Shipping in Wave 14
Black Series Wave 14 (containing Snoke, Rose, Jaina) is starting to hit all over the US. A tell-tale sign that you’ve missed the figures is that the #44 Rey (Jedi Training) carry-forward is on the pegs, but this version includes the battle-damage bloody scratch on her right arm. I found the above example today at Target.
