Toys”R”Us as posted their upcoming Black Friday Circular on their facebook page. Not a whole lot of “new” deals to be had on Star Wars merchandise as they are again trying to unload those Legacy Collection ARC-170 and Clone Wars Y-Wings, but if you still need them and your store still has them, they will be on sale for 50% off. They will also be offering 50% off select Legacy/Clone Wars Battle Packs and the Grievous Roll-Playing Lightsaber.
Toys”R”Us is having a two-day Doorbuster sale this weekend where you can get 2 figures for $11.99*. Offer valid on Vintage, Clone Wars and Saga Legends. Promotion starts Friday at 3pm.
*You’ll need the coupon to take full advantage of this sale, otherwise the “2 for” deal is for $14.99.
Toys”R”Us continues their 2 for $12.99 sale on Star Wars figures as well as adding a $10 discount on the Vintage Y-wing and Buy 1, get 1 50% off All Star Wars Spy Toys. Plus, if you spend $30 or more you get the exclusive Clone Wars Special Operation Clone Trooper (aka Commander Blackout) figure FREE.
Today and tomorrow, Toys”R”Us is having a sale on Star Wars basic figures 2 for $12.99. The same applies to Clone Wars, Saga Legends and Vintage Collection. (Exclusive figures are excluded.) The sale is valid in-stores and online at ToysRUs.com.
ToysRUs has the exclusive Clone Wars Droid Attack on the Coronet Battle Pack in-stock at ToysRUs.com. An excellent alternative if you don’t have a store nearby.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives are reporting that tomorrow kicks off a HUGE Sale Event at Toys”R”Us with 30% off ALL Star Wars merchandise, plus freebies! For the complete details, head on over to JTA!
UPDATE: Apparently “ALL” Star Wars on Sale for 30% off was a slight misrepresentation of the facts despite what their print ad states. Toys”R”Us is offering varying degrees of discounts depending on the license and product type so be sure to check those shelf tags and price scanners for the actual prices.
Forum member combatJedi reports finding the new exclusive Droid Attack on the Coronet Battle Pack at a Toys”R”Us just yesterday – so might be a good idea to swing on by your local store to see if they have this in stock yet ($24.99). Hopefully this set goes over well and gets Hasbro to make a new OT Probe Droid set as well (who doesn’t want that anyway?)!
Note – some of the latest Clone Wars figures have been sighted at Toys”R”Us this week as well via pallet displays in front of the Star Wars promo sections at the front of the store (Savage Opress, Seripas, Saesee Tiin)… as always, your mileage may vary.
Good luck!
This weekend (September 2-5) Toys”R”Us is having a Labor Day Sale offering great discounts on various Star Wars merchandise! Special include $25 off the Clone Wars Rise of Boba Fett Ultimate Battle Pack, $30 off the Hasbro AT-AT, $25 off a qualifying $100 LEGO Star Wars purchase, Buy 1, get 1 50% off All Star Wars Books and more.
Yakface forum member “combatJedi” reports that he found the Republic AV-7 at his local Toys”R”Us. Nice find!
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the Toys”R”Us Exclusive Stealth Operations Clone Trooper from The Clone Wars Collection.
PROS: Nice, crisp deco on the helmet and shoulder bells, even the soles of the boots are painted. For an exclusive, the price is comparable to the standard basic figure price. (Even cheaper if purchased during the current 2 for $10.99 promotion.)
CONS: Should have been designated as “Blackout” as identified by LFL and The Clone Wars Episode Guide. A bit light on accessories for a clone and maybe under articulated for some collectors as it uses the divisive “Stone” body.
Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.
You can also weigh in with your impressions on the figures we add to our toyguide on facebook and in our forums.
