The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with a special addition focusing on the #ForceFridayCountdown Promotional Calendar sent out by Hasbro and Hunter PR to various collector/news sites. This calendar counts down the days until Force Friday, September 4, 2015, when official merchandise for Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits store shelves. Each page features a factoid relating to the date or product shown. Star Wars #6 R2-D2 Action Figure Variant Cover
The ever expanding list of action figure cover variants for Marvel’s Star Wars series continues with R2-D2 for issue #006. Like the others, this variant features the work of John Tyler Christopher giving the cover a Vintage Kenner inspired design with a realistic twist. Look for it at your local comic shop on June 3.
