I received some information yesterday from a few different sources corroborating some of the existing code names we have for Black Series with some rumored figures we’ve shared as well. Click on through for the details and when we may expect them.
THE KNOWN
Back in December, Jedi Insider posted the rumor of Jedi Training Luke and Leia, and in January, they reported on the possibility of Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba. Those 4 rumors look to be holding true and their code names are as follows:
“South Carolina” – Leia Organa (Jedi Training Flashback)
“Tennessee” – Luke Skywalker (Jedi Training Flashback)
“Iowa” – Dr. Evazan
“Ohio” – Ponda Baba
THE NEW
Two other figures which haven’t been discussed until now is the addition of an HK droid from KOTOR as well as Princess Leia (Yavin Ceremony) and their code names are as follows:
“Georgia” – HK Droid (KOTOR)
“Kansas” – Princess Leia (Yavin Ceremony)
The Unknown
There is also a Mandalorian figure that is part of the wave – code-named “Montana” which is currently unknown. Based on additional info I have, it doesn’t appear to be the pipeline Mayfeld as he has the code name “Pennsylvania” nor is it Fennec Shand as she is “New Jersey“.
These figures are all due as one wave at the end of the year but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if we received some of them earlier as possible convention exclusives.
