Hasbro and 3D Systems (the same company that acquired Gentle Giant in January) have announced a partnership to co-develop and commercialize 3D printers in order to deliver new immersive, creative play experiences for children. Depending on how this joint venture is executed, it looks like we may have an actual avenue in producing toys we want. Next stop, replicators a la Star Trek?
