Starting in early 2016, Disney Cruise Line guests can celebrate the legendary adventures and iconic characters of the Star Wars saga during a brand-new event of galactic proportions: Star Wars Day at Sea. Marking the first official appearance of the heroes and villains of Star Wars aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship, Star Wars Day at Sea combines the power of the Force and the magic of Disney—for a day of fun more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

Star Wars-Themed Cruises Sailing Soon?

Ever since Disney’s acquisition of the Star Wars brand, it has been speculated that we’d inevitably see a Star Wars-themed Disney cruise. Our friends Mark and James from JediNews wrote about this recently for Metro News, but now a tweet from Attractions Magazine virtually confirms the rumor.

Rare Navajo Screening of A New Hope at Celebration

Star WarsA New Hope was the first mainstream movie to be dubbed into the Navajo language, and fans at Celebration can see a behind-the-scenes documentary on how that came to be, created especially for the event.

Following the never-before-seen documentary footage, and a Q&A session with key players from the Navajo Nation and the film industry, Star WarsA New Hope will be screened in the Navajo dub – a treat for Star Wars movie fans, and fans of languages, and of course for anyone who speaks Navajo!
