It’s time for the 110th American International Toy Fair in New York but unfortunately ‘Nemo’ has stopped many people from attending including Dan and James who are stuck in Rochester, NY and London, UK respectively. That doesn’t mean that their coverage stops and they’re here with the first show from the 2013 US Toy Fair featuring all the reveals and news from the Hasbro Fan Media Day event that took place at the Times Centre on 9th February 2013. Due to the pending blizzard’s unpredictable effects on my connecting flights (inbound and outgoing) on Friday and Sunday, I have elected to cancel my trip to NY for Toy Fair. That doesn’t mean we will not be covering the weekend’s event! We will be sharing news here, Facebook, Twitter, and in our forums from our great affiliates that are still attending.

It is hard to believe we are only a few short days away to providing our coverage of this year’s Toy Fair in New York. There have been a lot of shake-ups in the collecting landscape since last year so hopefully we’ll get some clarification and reassurances from Hasbro that all is not lost as we head into 2013 and beyond.
The official Celebration Europe II Exclusive T-Shirt has been revealed! Similar in design to the Celebration VI shirt featuring Yoda, this shirt features the unmistakeable silhouette of Luke Skywalker – perfect for the 30th Annversary of Return of the Jedi.

The UK Toy Fair is officially underway and the first awards have been given out predicting the Best New Toys of 2013 and Hasbro’s new Anakin to Darth Vader figure (£24.99) has earned a spot. While details of this figure have yet to be revealed, we can provide you a small press image courtesy of Bastion Press.
