Released in September 2013, the game features the most extensive roster of playable characters of any Angry Birds title so far, including the first chance to play as the pigs by joining the Pork Side. At launch, Hasbro introduced the innovative TELEPODS platform, powered by Retoy, where players use smart devices to “teleport” their physical TELEPODS figures into game, and released more than 30 different TELEPODS figures including Rebel Birds and Imperial Pigs.
To celebrate this momentous milestone, Rovio is releasing a brand-new chapter for Angry Birds Star Wars II called Rise of the Clones, which brings 44 levels featuring new gameplay elements like wind and water currents.

GLENDALE, Calif., May 1, 2014 – Drawing from the success of its interactive storytelling products, Disney Publishing Worldwide today announced the launch of “Star Wars Journeys,” a new episodic series of apps featuring the stories, heroes and villains from a galaxy far, far away. With immersive story content and fast-paced activities and game play, “Star Wars Journeys” apps will introduce the epic Star Wars universe to the next generation of fans like never before. More than half a dozen apps are slated for release for the Kids and Entertainment categories of the App Store; “Star Wars Journeys: The Phantom Menace” is available now and additional apps in the portfolio will roll out in sequential order leading up to the release of Star Wars Episode VII.

BioWare, a division of Electronic Arts Inc., and LucasArts have officially announced Galactic Starfighter, an upcoming the Free-to-Play digital expansion of the hit Star Wars: The Old Republic. The new add-on features Player-vs-Player (PvP) combat with epic 12-against-12 space battles, a variety of unique starships, a wide set of customization and upgrade options, and multiple battle zones and gameplay modes.
