Proving that they are willing to address their mistakes (from time to time) Hasbro corrected the “First Issue” error on the back of the VC25 R2-D2 card. The 2010 cardback photo has been replaced with a more standard inset photo there are other typographical and design changes as well. Toyguide Update: VC25 R2-D2
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of R2-D2 from the Vintage Collection’s Return of the Jedi wave (Wave 3).
PROS: After 7 years, this is a great second attempt at the “BAR2-D2” figure. The drink tray is far superior to the previous version in terms of sculpt and the ability to remove the individual glasses. Loaded with accessories and features to re-enact other scenes from the Original Trilogy.
CONS: Little pieces can be easy to loose if not careful. Dome rotation is limited when lightsaber or periscope accessories are in use. Smaller scale seems unnecessary at this stage of the hobby.

Toyguide Update: Rocket-Firing Boba Fett (VCP03)
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the Rocket-Firing Boba Fett Mailaway Exclusive from the Vintage Collection.
PROS: Hasbro has done an amazing job at re-creating the original Boba Fett. The sculpt and paint operations are very crisp and well executed. Looks gorgeous on the Vintage card.
CONS: The figure suffers from balance issues due to the incorporation of the rocket-firing feature. The ankles also seem to be sculpted in an angle that makes standing (without the aid of a display stand) a challenge. Hand sculpt (right hand) for holding the blaster is too wide and thus is prone to dropping the weapon. Despite this flaws, this figure is not one to pass on.

Toyguide Update: VC21 Gamorrean Guard
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the Gamorrean Guard from the Vintage Collection’s Return of the Jedi wave (Wave 3).
PROS: One of the top offerings by Hasbro, action figure wise, in recent years. Everything from the sculpt to the paint and likeness hit their mark. Well accessorized and the fuzzy loincloth is the drool on the cake.
CONS: A tough figure to find at retail for some and thus fetches a pretty penny on eBay. Furry loincloth has a tendency to poof up when removed from the package and also sheds fibers when handled.

Toyguide Update: VC49 Fi-Ek Sirch (Variant)
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the latest variant from the Vintage Collection: VC49 Fi-Ek Sirch (Jedi Knight).

Toyguide Update: Clone Captain Lock (Kmart)
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the K-Mart Exclusive Clone Captain Lock from The Clone Wars Collection.
PROS: A nice and relatively inexpensive exclusive when compared to other retailers. Still available in stores and online.
CONS: Light on accessories and a removable helmet would have been nice.

Toyguide Update: CW52 Commander Colt
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of Clone Commander Colt from The Clone Wars Collection
PROS: We knew we were going to get this figure as soon as we saw him in solicitation imagery for the Season 3 debut, and after a not-quite-right trial run in the ARC Troopers Battle Pack, Hasbro delivers on a great figure and it’s pretty close to the onscreen version in terms of deco and the skull-face helmet deco is too cool. Lots of accessories and plenty of articulation, too.
CONS: The blueish-gray used for the accent color seems to be a bit off when compared to the character art, but still a fine figure and not a reason to pass on him.
