New Clone Wars Battle Packs

The crew at Sandtroopers.com has posted a new set of images showcasing 4 new Battle Packs for the Clone Wars line! Head on over for a look at Assault on Geonosis, Cad Bane’s Escape (there’s that missing Bane figure!), Defend Kamino and The Hunt for Grievous!

What do you think about the drop to only 3 figures in a battle pack? Leave a comment here or post in our forums!

EDIT: Hasbro just sent us these as well, so if you have trouble viewing them there you can hit up our facebook page.

Toyguide Update: CW51 Eeth Koth

The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of Eeth Koth from The Clone Wars Collection

PROS: Another excellent Clone Wars-style figure, the likeness is very close to the animation model.

CONS: A little light on the accessories; absence of ankle joints may be a sticking point for some.

Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.

Toyguide Update: CW50 Barriss Offee

The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of Barriss Offee from The Clone Wars Collection

PROS: Fantastic esthetically and the likeness is near perfect for the animated character. The fabric for the skirt is some of the best I’ve see in the modern era of collecting.

CONS: This will be a sticking point for some – articulation. There are no knee or ankle joints and the elbow only feature simple swivel joints.

Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.

CW49: Riot Control Clone Trooper

The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the Riot Control Clone Trooper from The Clone Wars Collection

PROS: Clone uses the original super-articulated trooper body. Great accessories and deco. Baton attaches to shield for easy storage.

CONS: You’ll want a few but finding them in quantities at retail, at least initially might take a bit of work.

Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.
