The Disney Parks app has updated this morning listing the new R2-D2 and C-3PO Droid Factory set. It is currently listed as out of stock and there is no mention of it being “in-store only” like Chopper and R-3DO. Keep checking back throughout the day for a status change.
The Disney Park app has repopulated their Droid Factory offerings with a new caveat stating the the new Droid Factory build-a-droid figures like Chopper and R-3DO are now available to purchase in-store only and can not be ordered through the app.
Although it is currently out of stock, the Chopper Droid Factory figure is now on the Disney Parks app. Keep checking the app throughout the day and we’ll update when it is in stock.

Jedi Temple Archives has posted additional supporting info regarding a rumored expansion to the Droid Factory “build-a-droid” program at Disney Parks. This info all but officially confirms our exclusive report and image from back in December.
As a follow up to our exclusive announcement of three new Droidfactory/Bulld-A-Droid astromechs coming soon to Disney Park locations, we can reveal R2-C2 as the fourth droid that should complete the 4 droid “Clone Wars” set. Interestingly, we just received a version of this figure in Entertainment Earth’s exclusive last month.
