FYI: Movie Heroes Light-Up Figures
I was able to score the entire “wave 2” assortment of Movie Heroes today from my local Walmart and have been posted a few loose shots of them on Facebook. In doing so, I’ve received a few emails regarding the quality and functionality of the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan with light-up lightsabers in particular. Click on through for some additional details regarding these controversial figures.
Podracer Pilots Arriving from TRU
For those that placed their orders for the ToysRUs Exclusive Podracer Pilots sets, be on the lookout as they are hitting doorsteps. I received mine yesterday and you can get a preview of our pending toyguide update by heading to our Facebook page.
And for those curious, the included flags/banners are all plastic with the flag itself being a thin mylar sheet about the thickness of a piece of copy paper.

TVC Wave 9 Still Eludes Collectors
As evidenced by our recent post on Facebook, the Vintage Collection’s Wave 9 still seems to prove difficult to find for some collectors. Although I’ve been fortunate to see decent quantities of this wave, many collectors have all but given up hope for seeing this new assortment at retail. As a result, we’ve posted a new poll on our Facebook page asking how often do you actively “hunt” for new product at retail?
