All across the world, fans had their first crack at toys from the upcoming film… and from early reports, there wasn’t a whole lot of 3.75″ figures to go around in some areas. Some places didn’t even receive a single 6″ figure in time.
But, many people also went home happy with their scores – how about you? Happy? Mad? Will kids even have a shot at this stuff this weekend if distribution is as bad as this first night was in some areas?

Sideshow is now taking preorders for the Ralph McQuarrie Stormtrooper statue.
Expertly crafted in 1:5th scale, the soldier of the Empire is depicted patrolling a corridor of the Death Star. As seen in McQuarrie’s early incarnations, the Stormtrooper comes with multiple display options – carrying a shield in one hand while wielding a lightsaber or blaster in the other – and is fitted with distinctive helmets and armor that more closely resembled fighter pilot gear than the final costumes seen on screen. Reviewing a broad spectrum of McQuarrie’s imaginative designs for the Imperial Stormtroopers, Sideshow’s artists have translated his iconic artwork in a brilliant homage to a Star Wars that is both familiar, yet never was.

The final figure for wave 2 of the 6″ Black Series has been revealed. Constable Zuvio. It is unclear at this point how many US stores will be receiving wave 2 as most of them have been revealed overseas. Things will be clearer in a few hours.

If you caught the brief glimpse of this figure in the behind the scenes video, you’ll recognize this latest figure called the “Guavian Enforcer” that leaked on Twitter.
UPDATE: here is a description from the box bio:
“The security soldiers of the Guavian Gang wear high impact armor that makes them stand out among other deadly criminals”
Hot Toys has also revealed their 1:6 First Order Stormtroopers Set that includes a First Order Stormtrooper and Heavy Gunner Stormtrooper. Click on through for the images.
Hot Toys has official claimed ownership of all the monies, with the reveal of their 1:6 Scale Kylo Ren from The Force Awakens. Check out the gallery on their Facebook page.
Not to be outdone by the 18-hour marathon of reveals, S.H.Figuarts reveals their Kylo Ren and First Order Stormtrooper figures. Click on through for the image gallery and look for these to be made available this December.
