40th Anniversary Product Images Online
Since I’ve received dozens of emails, links and images, I’ll state openly here that images for (some) the 40th Anniversary 6″ figures have shown up across social media (via Amazon.com.mx). We won’t be sharing the images publicly per Hasbro’s request. We will say the images confirm the some of the rumors, so watch VERY SOON for preorders to go live on these items and for their full (official) reveal this weekend at Toyfair in New York.
Update: Amazon Mexico has pulled down their links and images for those figures.
Toyguide Update: Admiral Raddus
The Yakface Toyguide return today for our next entry in the Rogue One 3.75″ basic figure assortment with the Admiral Raddus figure.
PROS: Overall sculpt and deco is fantastic with crisp details and decent color blending especially on the hands/forearms. Like the TFA Admiral Ackbar that came before it, Raddus features an articulated mouth to bark out orders to the fleet over Scarif. It works well and is reminiscent of a time when toys were toys. He includes a DH-17 blaster pistol which is oddly oversized, and a rocket firing rifle.
CONS: The incorporation of the movable jaw renders the neck immobile so the figure is perpetually stuck looking forward/up. As one of the final figures released in the Rogue One line look, this may prove to be a tough find as we approach spring/summer with the 40th Anniversary and The Last Jedi product on the way.
Head to the toyguide for our detailed image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.

Black Series Wave 9 Quietly Hitting Retail
A report from the Black Series 6″ Collectors Facebook Group shows that the Revan wave of Black Series figures has started popping up outside of the GameStop stores. Bijan N. found the Snowtrooper and Princess Leia figures at Shopko in Redding, CA. Since they weren’t in the system, he got them for a great deal at $7.49 each.
This wave has also turned up recently at Walmart (Frederick, MD) thanks to a report from Kenny M.
