PROS: A solid figure and serves its purpose in piloting the various starfighters currently available. Great helmet deco.
CONS: Utilizes the “Stone” body, which turns off many collectors due to the downgrade of a few key points of articulation (no ball-jointed wrist, ankles and torso).

Just a quick heads up – Hasbrotoyshop.com has the new “Embo Wave” up for preorder – these look like some of the better Clone Wars figures this year, and it appears these will start shipping around November 22.

While shopping at Target today, I received a coupon with my receipt for $5.00 off any $30.00 Hasbro Star Wars purchase. This wasn’t the result of buying some Star Wars items, it printed up even though I didn’t buy anything toy related at all. With all the new exclusives hitting Target, savings like this will definitely come in handy. So keep an eye on those Target receipts!
Yakface reader “Shabby Blue” writes in with a very interesting find regarding a new variant surrounding the Vintage Collection Sandtrooper.
There appears to be a running change for the photo on the vintage Sandtrooper card. The original photo was more blurry with its colors faded, but the new version is sharper with deeper colors. It’s most noticable with the deeper blue sky and the sharper whiter looking sandtrooper in the photo. This new “blue sky” version has a newer date stamp on the back of the card, confirming that its the 2nd version with the faded card being the original. It’s also not a one-time factory error because I just saw a 2nd one at Walmart yesterday after finding the first at TRU earlier in the week. I’ve attached a few hi-res photos showing the difference. The new “blue sky” version is on the left and the old faded version is on the right.
As a follow up to Jedi Temple Archives report earlier this week, Yakface reader Mike writes in with word that he found the updated Saga Legends Jango Fett at his local Target in Las Vegas so it looks like it has now officially it the US.
PROS: Nice upgrade to the prior TLC BD25 version, the cape is great addition as is the revised deco. Well accessorized too.
CONS: The mold is very rubbery, making prolonged posing a delicate/frustrating balancing act. No foot peg holes in the feet to accept a display stand. New articulated hands pop off very easily.
