Although I’ve never been a huge fan of The Clone Wars styling, I have to admit, seeing a Clone Wars animated rendering of my fan fiction photonovel character, Rykrof Enloe, blows me away (and suddenly I find the styling a lot more appealing)! If you need a refresher on this OT-era series prior to the next chapter being posted, you can catch up with both Chapter 1: Seeds of Insurrection and Chapter 2: Atrocity in our forums.
This past year saw a return to the photonovel realm for Rykrof Enloe, with The Enloe Trials photonovel series. I really didn’t think after taking a year off from these things that I’d find it in myself to come back, but thanks to a lot of encouragement from our forum members, I decided to launch a new series for Rykrof propelling him toward the events of the Original Trilogy.
Things kicked off back in February with The Baron’s Crusade; the prologue to this new series. In it, Imperial Baron Tylin Gere has begun a personal quest to acquire an ancient Sith artifact, and will stop at nothing to acquire it.
Soon after, Emperor Palpatine informs Darth Vader of the rogue actions of Tylin Gere in Seeds of Insurrection. Meanwhile, former Jedi Master Kala Mly Shundi contacts Rykrof Enloe on Urelia in an attempt to persuade Rykrof to join a small but growing rebellion against the Empire.
It isn’t long before Imperial troops arrive at Rykrof’s home, sent by none other than Tylin Gere. In this chapter, Atrocity, Rykrof loses his father, and is forced to work for Tylin if he ever wants to see his wife or son alive again.
Thank you to everyone who has helped support this series (you know who you are), as the photonovel craze from several years ago has died down significantly across the Star Wars boards everywhere. But in 2013, more exiting adventures are in store for Rykrof Enloe — so stay tuned for more action as the year progresses!
I’d also like to throw a shout out to our friends at Jeditemplearchives for their support too!
A dark shadow has been cast over Rykrof Enloe as agents of the Empire have mercilessly attacked the Enloe Homestead, brutally killing members of his family.
With those closest to him in imminent danger, Rykrof must forge an alliance with shadowy forces in order to save his son – find out what’s in store for Rykrof in this latest adventure after the jump!
Warning: This chapter features language and scenery which may not be appropriate for younger readers.
