Today’s issue of Entertainment Weekly has listed Star Wars Rebels as part of their 2014 Preview feature and the accompanying photo shows a new image of The Inquisitor with a couple stormtroopers. Interestingly, it reveals that his unique lightsaber staff appears to have a couple modes where it can be used as more of a sword with the full [rotating] ring folding in half to serve as a traditional hand guard.

The StarWars Tumblr page has posted a great concept illustration by Kilian Plunkett for The Ghost from the Star Wars Rebels series. I’m loving this ship more and more every time I see it. Let’s hope that Hasbro does it some sort of justice in the 3-3/4″ line. Click on over to check out a larger view.

Hasbro has made available slightly larger images of the Star Wars Rebels Saga Legends Inquisitor that was revealed today on StarWars.com. Click on through for the gallery and a theory many collectors are discussing on the interwebs.

During the Star Wars Rebels panel at NYCC over the weekend, Lucasfilm revealed the merchandise line look for 2014. Thanks to a great photo (shot by Rich Alot over at Rebelscum) I was able to retouch it a bit to give a clearer representation of what we will see in stores in a few short months. It appears that the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels is, to borrow a phrase, ‘more than meets the eye’. Tucked in the back of the Ghost is a smaller fighter called the Wolf which has a very vintage Kenner mini rig feel.
Hasbro, please tell us that you are working on a Ghost/Wolf vehicle release for 2014? My 10 year old inner child is screaming for one!

Dave Filoni has posted the following information regarding the final, unreleased episodes of The Clone Wars:
Star Wars fans – I have some exciting news! We have wrapped production on all of the remaining Star Wars: The Clone Wars episodes, and while that might be sad news in one way, it’s good news in another. It means you will finally get to see them. When, exactly, is a detail I cannot yet share. I can confirm that in early 2014 you will be watching the final episodes of The Clone Wars, including one of Master Yoda’s most challenging missions. So, get ready. We’ve got Clone Wars and Rebels coming at you in 2014. Animated Star Wars is alive and well. Trust in the Force my friends.
