For $25 every other month, members will receive a box full of Star Wars-themed Funko items that focus on a different part of the Star Wars universe. The debut box — themed The Force Awakens — will ship this November and contain two exclusive Pop! vinyl bobbleheads from the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as well as a host of other surprises perfect for fans on both sides of the Force.

The Official Site has posted that principal photography for Episode VII will commence this May. They also confirm that the story will continue 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi and feature three new young leading actors as well as a some familiar faces.
The official site has updated today with a feature showcasing six excellent propaganda/patriotic art posters. 2500 people from media outlets were sent a limited edition mailer featuring all six cards in order to spread the word of the Empire. Head on over to StarWars.com to check them out.
Lucasfilm announced today that production of Star Wars: Episode VII will take place in the United Kingdom. All of the six previous live-action Star Wars movies have included UK production in such famed studios as Elstree, Shepperton, Leavesden, Ealing and Pinewood Studios.

To mark the occasion, Lucasfilm is excited to announce The Clone Wars Google Hangout — the first ever official Star Wars Google Hangout — taking place this Saturday, February 2, at 10:30 a.m. PST. Featuring The Clone Wars supervising director Dave Filoni, Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), and Sam Witwer (Darth Maul), fans will get the chance to connect with the cast and creators of the hit series like never before. They’ll also get an exclusive first look at next week’s installment of The Clone Wars, “Sabotage,” along with other surprises.

Since its launch in 1996, StarWars.com has periodically undergone changes in order to reflect its growing and evolving audience, and to keep pace with the rapidly shifting nature of the online world. This new version of the site is the biggest re-haul since Star Wars‘ official online presence began, and it will continue to grow and evolve in the immediate future.
