Prototype collector Gorkoracing has shared via Instagram a rather cool acquisition he recently obtained. The set of Echo Base themed prototypes dates back to 2012 and includes a probe droid (with breakaway pod), Echo Base Trooper, Imperial Engineer, and an Echo Base console. Head on over to Gorkoracing’s Instagram feed for the details.

While shopping today at a local grocery chain (Cub Foods) I noticed an official Super Bowl LII pin with the Star Wars logo and lightsabers on it. This is the second lapel pin that has been found, the first was an R2-D2 pin posted via Reddit and was available at the Mall of America Super Bowl store. Could there be a reason for such a marketing partnership? A trailer for an upcoming film perhaps? We shall see.
Our friends at JediDefender reported finding this back on Jan 7.
Sponsor Entertainment Earth has received a small quantity of the last wave of Rogue One figures that includes Admiral Raddus, Galen Erso, Lt. Sefla, Fenn Rau, Death Trooper and Shoretrooper. Keep checking the site to order yours if you’re in need.

Hasbro has confirmed via JediDefender, that the Nerf-firing Imperial AT-ACT WILL NOT be available at retail for the Rogue Friday/Force Friday launch on September 30. Look for it in stores and online later this fall.
There were a couple of Q&A sessions with Hasbro at SDCC a few weeks ago that revealed some intriguing responses from Hasbro Star Wars Design Director, Steve Evans, in terms of 3.75″ SA figures… and even the topic of playsets.
Check out what Steve Evans had to say via coverage from our friends at Imperialshipyards and Jedidefender.
You can share your thoughts in the Imperialshipyards Forums, Jedidefender Forums, or here with us at Yakface.
Just when you thought the Kubrick line of Star Wars products was dead, Medicom issues another (albeit uninspired) figure for attendees of the 20th Anniversary reception party at the Medicom Toy 2016 Exhibition. This Luke Skywalker Kubrick is based off of their original brown hair Early Bird Luke Skywalker from back in 2003.
