Thanks to our faith reader Lisa’s store report yesterday, I was able to score the new Vintage 3 Packs from my local Target last night. You can head over to our facebook page for a few preview images of these sets. Then come back and leave your comments here or in our forums.
Yakface reader Lisa writes in tonight with word that the new Vintage 3-pack Exclusives have hit her Wadsworth, OH Target. The retail price on these is $19.99 each and the DPCI is 087-06-0302.
Thanks Lisa – great find!
Collectors and kids can be in for an unpleasant surprise next time they want to pick up a Star Wars figure at Target.
As reported by our friends at Jedidefender.com, Target stores have raised the price of their Vintage Collection figures and Legends/Clone Wars figures by another buck.
Share your thoughts on how this price increase could affect your collecting habits in the forums.
Target is always good about marking down old product – but $12.48 for the Vintage 9-pk? That’s what I found this evening at a local St. Louis Target. It was marked $34.98, but scanned at 75% off already. So even if you see these marked for 30% or 50% off, be sure to scan them because you could be in for a nice surprise!
Sandtroopers.com has managed to gather some new intel (with photos) of 3 new Vintage 3 packs that will be coming to Target later this year.
Star Wars “Villain Set”: Stormtrooper / Darth Vader / Death Star Trooper
Star Wars “Hero Set”: Luke Skywalker (Xwing Pilot) / Ben Kenobi / Han Solo (VOTC version!)
The Empire Strikes Back “Rebel Set”: 2-1B / Princess Leia (Hoth Outfit) / Rebel Commander
Like the previous sets, these include straight figure repacks (no new sculpts) with possible minor paint tweaks. Head to Sandtroopers.com for all the photos.
While checking out my local Target this morning I ran into the several new Lego Star Wars sets been reset after the aisle’s decimation during the holidays:
7869 Battle For Geonosis $29.99
7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack $10.99
7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack $10.99
7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter $24.99
7929 The Battle of Naboo $29.99
7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship $49.99
7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle $79.99
So if Lego is your thing and you’ve got a few extra credits burning a hole in your pocket, you can start checking your Target stores this week.
