Our friends at MakingStarWars.net have posted their transcription of their QnA rundown with Hasbro from Celebration Anaheim. We’ve included a nice little excerpt regarding the Black Series line below

Q:  The Black Series line, as it is, is it continuing on to 2016 and beyond?

A: Yeah we have no plans to stop Black Series.  It’s doing really well for us.  We revealed the new Fall 2015 line look.  It’s moving forward.  We’ve had a lot of fans ask about Vintage and Droid Factory, both things we definitely want to get back to in the future but Black Series in terms of our pinnacle figure expression, that’s what it is and that’s how it’s continuing.

Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives and Jedi News are on the show floor for Celebration Anaheim’s Preview Night and the have provided a great detailed look at new revamped packaging for the 6″ Black Series. It is 1000X better than the orange and blue versions to be sure. Head on over to their respective sites to check these out as well as carded images of The Black Series.

Another Black Series Packaging Change?

Our friends at JediNews are on the floor at Star Wars Celebration and have been snapping photo of the set up progress. One image caught my eye in particular as it appears that The Black Series is getting a color change again from blue to red and possibly a switch to Chewbacca from the current TIE Pilot. Note the “2015 New Series” text on the side of the display cabinet. You can check out the full image via Instagram or Twitter.
