Darth Maul Clone Wars Storyline to Conclude in Comic Form

Newsarama has posted an exclusive report that the story arc involving Darth Maul in The Clone Wars series will be concluded via a four-part limited edition comic book series titled: Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir this May.

It is a huge disappointment that these episodes won’t be completed in their intended animated form, but at least the story will finally get some closure.

Own The Clone Wars Season 5 Blu-ray/DVD This Fall

StarWars.com has announced that The Clone Wars Season 5 will be released this October 15th as a stand-alone Blu-ray/DVD set or as part of a complete boxed set including all 108 episodes. The boxed set include a limited edition Art of The Clone Wars book containing never-before-seen concept art from the series. A New Direction for Lucasfilm Animation

After 5 years and 100+ episodes, the Official Site has updated today with the announcement that The Clone Wars is coming to an end. Fear not, The Clone Wars isn’t dead… not yet. They have also announced that they are continuing in the production on a few final episodes that will air (location/dates TBA) to conclude some of the arcs and stories that need to be told. These final episodes are promised to be the best in the series.

To mark the occasion, Lucasfilm is excited to announce The Clone Wars Google Hangout — the first ever official Star Wars Google Hangout — taking place this Saturday, February 2, at 10:30 a.m. PST. Featuring The Clone Wars supervising director Dave Filoni, Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), and Sam Witwer (Darth Maul), fans will get the chance to connect with the cast and creators of the hit series like never before. They’ll also get an exclusive first look at next week’s installment of The Clone Wars, “Sabotage,” along with other surprises.

The Clone Wars Returns Tonight

The Clone Wars returns tonight with an all new episode titled, “Darkness on Umbara“.

When Anakin is forced to temporarily turn over command of his clone troopers to a new commander, the Jedi Pong Krell, tensions begin to run high as the clones are assigned with a very deadly mission to take the capital of Umbara.
