Our friends at MakingStarWars.net turned us to a post over at HothBricks which claims to have the names, piece counts and prices for seven LEGO sets coming for The Force Awakens. Nothing really spoilery in terms of reveals but there is a new vehicle listed that has yet to be mentioned previously. Click on through for the list.

Episode #63: A Collector and His Money Are Soon Parted

The Realm Recap is back after the Memorial Day Weekend bring and in our absence, there were plenty of developments in collecting. Collectors success at retail has started to improve as more folks are finding Black Series figures (in both scales) at their local stores. eBay caused a bit of a frenzy this week as a notorious seller posted the first auction for a collectible from The Force Awakens — a 6″ First Order Stormtrooper which closed at a ridiculous price. Is it legit??? Also this week, new store finds from LEGO, product news for Disney Infinity 3.0, custom 6″ figures and vehicles as well as a new character name revealed fro The Force Awakens! It’s all on Episode 63 of The Realm Recap!

New StarWars.com Article Reveals New Character

StarWars.com has updated today with an expanded interview with Annie Leibovitz from the recent Vanity Fair feature. The new article reveals a new image of Andy Serkis in full mo-cap mode as well as the character he will be playing (name only). For spoiler-phobes steer clear, but for others click on over to the official site.

UPDATE: The Force Awakens First Order Stormtrooper Hits eBay

It was only a matter of time, but the Hasbro 6″ First Order Stormtrooper figure from The Force Awakens hit eBay recently courtesy of seller VipersKingdom. It is sold out now but that is likely to change based on past history. If you absolutely must have the figure now, bookmark the seller’s page and check back often.

Toyguide Update: #ForceFridayCountdown Promotional Calendar

The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with a special addition focusing on the #ForceFridayCountdown Promotional Calendar sent out by Hasbro and Hunter PR to various collector/news sites. This calendar counts down the days until Force Friday, September 4, 2015, when official merchandise for Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits store shelves. Each page features a factoid relating to the date or product shown. Click on through to check out the calendar in its entirety and reflect on almost 40 years of Star Wars merchandise from Kenner and Hasbro.
