Plastic Galaxy iTunes Preorder
Plastic Galaxy: The Story of Star Wars Toys is now up for preorder on iTunes with a release date of Nov. 4.
When Star Wars landed in the theaters, it introduced audiences to a galaxy filled with heroes and villains, robots and space ships, and a dizzying variety of alien life. Plastic Galaxy is a documentary that explores the groundbreaking and breathtaking world of Star Wars toys. Through interviews with former Kenner employees, experts and authors like Stephen Sansweet and Gus Lopez, and of course collectors, it looks at the toys’ history, their influence, and the fond and fervent feelings they elicit today.

Star Wars: Kanan “The Last Padawan”
Marvel announced today at NYCC a new Star Wars comic series titled, Star Wars: Kanan – The Last Padawan” by Greg Weisman and Pepe Larraz. The arc delves into Kanan’s backstory as a young Padawan and his escape from Order 66.
Watch for it at your local comic shop and online beginning April 2015.

James Earl Jones Returns as Vader for Star Wars Rebels
StarWars.com has confirmed the rumors and speculation of James Earl Jones returning to voice Darth Vader on a special re-broadcast of Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion.

An out of the blue tweet hit my feed this evening from New York Times reporter, Brooks Barnes stating that the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader, will appear in a special ABC primetime re-broadcast of Star Wars Rebels episode on Oct. 26. When pressed further about the return of James Earl Jones as the iconic voice, the reply from a Disney spokesperson was “By order of the Empire, I decline to comment“.
