Update: Amazon Exclusive Hunter (Kamino) has sold out.
I’ve been doing some research and conferring with sources over the past few days to get some sort of grasp on what may (and may not) be revealed and available for preorder tomorrow. That being said, take what I say with a grain of salt to tamp down lofty expectations.
Continue reading Rumor Report: Hasbro’s Fan First Tuesday: What To Expect on May 4th?A few month ago we reported news on an upcoming Galaxy of Adventures version of The Mandalorian. Surprising it is now in stock as a bundle with a Stormtrooper on Amazon. Thanks to AJ Red 7 for the heads up.

Today, the second book in the Thrawn Ascendancy series by Timothy Zahn is available in stores and online.
Thrawn’s latest triumph still rests newly on his shoulders. He has led the Chiss to victory and brought glory to the House of Mitth, but the true threat to the Ascendancy has not yet been extinguished. Their foes do not send threats or ultimatums, do not mass ships on the edge of the Chaos. Their weapons come cloaked in smiles and generosity: Gifts offered freely. Services granted unconditionally.
Across the Ascendancy, seemingly inconsequential events could herald the doom of the Chiss. As Thrawn and the Expansionary Defense Fleet rally to uncover the plot, they discover a chilling truth: Rather than invade Chiss capitals or pillage resources, their enemy strikes at the very foundation of the Ascendancy, seeking to widen the rifts between the Nine Ruling Families and the Forty Great Houses below.

A couple weeks ago, we told you about the “Cheetah” animal code name discovered as part of the upcoming slate of 2021/2022 Black Series figures. We can now add “Elephant” and “Elk” to the growing list of mystery figures. Thanks to Irwin for the heads up.
Updated shipping data shows that cases of 6″ Carnor Jax, 6″ Darth Maul, cases of the mystery Target Exclusive 6″ Black Series “Rain” and “Snow*” figures and the Amazon exclusive 6″ Greedo (Kenner Deco) figure plus the First Order Stormtrooper Electronic Helmet have arrived in the Hasbro Distribution Center in CA. Solid cases Moff Gideon and Kuiil from the Retro Collection have arrived stateside as well.
*Rumored to be Obi-Wan Kenobi
Another mystery listing has shown up on Amazon sites overseas and what is puzzling about this one is that the Australia listing describes it as a Vintage “Cat Toy” item, while the Italian listing has it simply as “Black Series”. Both listings share the same Hasbro SKU number (F2886) and EAN/Barcode. The price for this item is around 60 Euros.
It’s anyone’s guess as to what it may actually be but considering how specific the AU listing is (and how general the IT listing is) I’m putting this in the TVC column.
Thanks to JTPrime for the links.
A new 6″ Black Series figure listing has been found on the Australian and Italian Amazon sites. It is unknown who the character is but Amazon AU lists it as being a character from The Mandalorian Season 2. As we’ve previously reported, this figure also has dual code names for the same Hasbro SKU: “Cheetah” and “Haiku”. Thanks to JTPrime for bringing this to our attention.
Hasbro Pulse has added a new sub-category to their website titled “Partner Exclusives“. It looks as though that Hasbro will be offering retailer exclusives through Hasbro Pulse at some point – a suggestion made by many on several occasions. There is nothing for Star Wars at the moment but there are Transformers R.E.D. figures listed there (initially sold only at Walmart). Hopefully figures like the Walmart exclusive Black Series Clone Wars assortment and the upcoming TVC figures will be offered through this channel as a means of meeting collector demand.
Thanks to LivingRangerKey for the heads-up.
It looks like we’re getting another Star Wars Build Up Pack of sorts judging by these new “STAPLER” code name listings on Target, Amazon and Walmart. Judging by the pricepoint (about $15), this may be a Mission Fleet item. No official word yet, but it does have a August 1 release date. We will update when we learn more.
