I happened to notice this variation today whilst roaming the aisles at Target. The Exclusive Hero Series Heroes and Villains 6 pack of figures now features a sticker on the front indicating the source material for the three non-Star Wars Rebels figures. R2-C4, much like another little R2 unit who went on to gain further fame, was an astromech droid under the service of the Royal Naboo Security Forces during the events of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. R2-C4 served with the pilots of the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps stationed at the city of Theed on Naboo, and was one of many to bravely partake in the Naboo Space Battle, fighting valiantly against the Trade Federation’s droid starfighters.

Personal Note: I think Hasbro should have dumped the AT-ST and added in the new Speederbike mold and a slightly revised POTF2 Endor Bunker (with new doors and new paint scheme) instead. I know I would have been more likely to purchase this set if that were the case, and I have a hunch many of you would have too.
